We are an industry-led consortium of 65+ partners dedicated to growing and accelerating manufacturing in Virginia and elsewhere in America. Nestled in Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains, we embrace the balance of our region’s nature-inspired, quality-of-life environment and the drive towards innovative, sustainable technologies that support our businesses and economy.

With support from U.S. EDA Tech Hubs and GO Virginia funding, we have developed a 10-year roadmap that prioritizes industry needs from startups to scale-ups, identifies implementation steps to enhance the expertise and responsiveness of ecosystem resources, and harnesses a collaborative consortium of players in this region.
Thus far, the AM2 Consortium has helped acquire $1 million to support early industry skills exposure in six middle schools (GO TEC), won $4.4 million in GO Virginia funding to implement steps outlined in the AM2 10-Year Roadmap, and has applied and is waiting to hear news on a $44 million implementation grant from the U.S. Economic Development Administration.
